The Red Wall of the Bakery



Hello, my name is Anthony.  I am not only a freshman, but a key player in the Terrier Bakery’s success.  Last semester I took Ella’s colloquium “The Art of Making Dough,” and I enjoyed it so much that I decided to take her second part of the class, “Transforming Dough into a Life of Sweet Success.”  In the freshman seminar, I am enjoying learning more about the food that one consumes and the way it is made. 
Furthermore, I cherish the time learning to operate a student run business.  I work with the marketing team to publicize the Terrier Bakery’s opening dates, new baked goods, new deals and special offers on many different medias such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, colorful flyers, and the college website to make the bakery visible and noticeable  to everyone at Hiram.  Ever Friday I work from 2pm to 4 pm in the Terrier Trader.  By working the Terrier Trader, I learn business, marketing, and customer service skills.  In addition to working in the Terrier Trader, I also sell Terrier Bakery’s baked goods in all the home athletic games.    Furthermore as the marketing team, our role of the bakery is to run the public relation portion of the bakery.  Our team completes special orders for students and professors.
